Two more sketchfest pieces :)
The Sultan’s Gift
A few doodles that actually make sense (there’s about 4 pages of these, but I’m too lazy to scan them, and half of them are uh… just kind of masses of lines that don’t do anything past my own thoughts)
Not sure what my art output will be like over the next few weeks. I work at a food store part time and next week is obviously the day we all lose a notch on our belt. Then after that is over, I get to be knocked out for a biopsy. Good news is, is that I’ve been off my blood thinners (finally!) for about a week, so I guess the doctor decided what ever traces of a blood clot I might’ve had is all gone.
Going to try to finish putting together 2013s calendar this weekend. Sketchfest is NEXT weekend. So if anyone was looking for some art that’s under $50, that’ll be your time to keep your eyes peeled :)

Dancing through Dandelions
watercolor and pen 4x6in, gold never scans well, but the darker yellow is gold paint.
reference used
Snow Empress
charcoal on paper
Another two… not sure I’ll be doing any more - might tonight after I get back from work but as it is right now, my mood is sour enough I’d make a lemon whine.
Available ones are in red borders.
These get finished if bought, sometimes I finish them even if not depending on other projects.
First round of sketchfest sketches..
Dandelion Dance - pose taken from Faestock’s stock
Entrance to the Woods
Snow Empress
Ones with red borders are available. Others available on my facebook.
I try to do this sketchfest once a month (missed last month’s from being too busy), and August’s sketchfest starts today :) It’s 48 hours of people putting up prompts for artists to draw.
If you want to join in - it starts at 4pm EST (12pm Alaskan time), and runs through Sunday afternoon.
http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/index.php explains it all. You aren’t required to sell the art on the site, and it’s a fun way to kind of just doodle for the afternoon and draw something you usually don’t.
Not an artist? You can leave prompts for others and see what they come up with! There’s no need to buy any art unless if you like it.
I tend to sell my drawings/paintings between $20-50 dollars. I’ll be posting them later this afternoon on my sketchfest tag.
answers to questions (I’ll note answers too and post here): Oh interesting! We can upload sketches later if we don’t have access to scanners this weekend, right? - yep! She leaves it open, I’ve had to upload sketches at a later date a few times as well.
Any questions?
