St. Louis area

Hey!  If you’re in the St. Louis area, my art’s going to be up at Onesto Pizza in July, over at Hoods Home Center (on Jefferson Ave), and I’ll be at Fezziwig’s Market at the END of July (I think the 27th? 6-8pm) in Lebanon, IL for a couple of hours with my art during a wine tasting and jazz night :D  I’ll find out in a couple of weeks if I’ll be able to be a part of the Strange Folk Festival here in town in September as a vendor.

So if you wanna come down and say hi in Lebanon, that’d be cool!

The good thing about call for arts for galleries is it’s been lately forcing my head to think outside of my typical work, but… keeping with what I want to say.

Brain exploded.  Theme for show is “Color”.  I have three paintings already on the table (even if other stuff isn’t finished, my own work often gets pushed around in line for years before it’s done)

Remember how I tried to explain my love of water?  I abuse that stuff with acrylic too :)

If you are in the St. Louis area, a few of my paintings were accepted into the Beggars and Burlies art exhibit at the Concrete Ocean Art Gallery.

Unless spoken for before April 22nd, the above three paintings will not be for sale outside of the show.  If purchased, they will still be GOING to the show, but I will mark them as “Not for sale” and will get shipped off to you sometime in June.  Mask Collector and The Muses can be put on a payment plan and a deposit will claim them as yours :)

The show opens May 11th, but will be part of the Burlesque Festival on May 17, 18 and 19th!

Prices for the above three pieces can be found here. (in order: The Muses, RED, Mask Collector)  Larger images of the three are available on the site as well.  Two pieces.  Mask Collector is now sold!

Alice Art Show

I’m not sure if anyone here following my art blog is from the St. Louis area, but my three Alice - Through the Looking Glass pieces were accepted into a show at the Mad Art Gallery.

The show is on April 6th, opening at 7pm-12am with a $10 admission.  Looks like there’ll be vendors as well, plus some sort of entertainment (my friend mentioned belly dancers may be there!).  I’m planning on being there for a little while at least (I’m not good at sticking around for the full 5 hours it’ll be open, but we’ll see)

I should have the event link on my facebook page. :)
